hiking 1:05:38 [3] 2.78 mi (23:37 / mi) +107m 21:06 / mi

In AZ for the weekend, and we stopped in Sedona for some hikes on our way up to Ali and Tom's. It's busy here, with tons of traffic in town, and a few of the trail heads we tried were just totally full. But once we found places to hike it was quite nice, if toasty hot.

run race 3:37:15 [3] 20.69 mi (10:30 / mi) +844m 9:19 / mi

Great Trail Race, which is roughly the course from the great ski race, but backwards (there were two options, one that follows the course exactly, and another that parallels it on singletrack - we did that one)

Had a good run. Started in a pack with three other people for the first 10k, then they pulled away on the first big climb and I never saw them again. Felt good up that climb and down to the next, and not bad up the second big one. Started getting tired in the last 10k, and a little bit crampy, but nothing bad. Finished in fifth, and third man, so I won another sweet baseball hat that doesn't fit.

In an 'elite' bike/run team with Carol (who mtb'ed it), which I think scores by combined times. But those results weren't out yet.
