Running 53:11 [1] 6.2 mi (8:35 / mi)
shoes: Asics Gel Nimbus VI

Easy run on the streets and an asphalt trail. Cool and windy today. I overdressed but I knew it was going to be an easy run and I wanted to be warm the whole time.

Strength (weights) 30:00 [2]

6 exercise circuit: squats, bench press, pull ups, step ups, shoulder press and low rows. Started each lift every 90 seconds. 3 times through, 5 reps per exercise. Increased the weight on the last set. Felt good.

Felt much better today. Some abdominal cramping but no pain. Yeah. Did 30 second sprints every 2-3 minutes on my 10 speed on an indoor trainer.

Running 35:00 [1] 4.0 mi (8:45 / mi)
slept:7.0 weight:164lbs (injured) shoes: Asics Gel Nimbus VI

I've been battling a strained rectus abdominus (abdominal) muscle. This was the first workout for 8 days. Some tightness in the area between the waist line and pubic bone. Pain in the area after the run. Guess I'm not yet healed It's frustrating because the only way to get better is to rest. But like most people, not working out is mentally difficult. I'll take off another week and see if I am completely healed then.
