I think Mai is my favorite yoga teacher. Nice and gentle - a good morning ease-into-it kind of session. Each of my half dozen yoga teachers has a different pace and style.

7 am. I did my own version of a marathon: about 26k. Ran from Nahant to MIT, where I'd left my bike. Route includes 1 mile of biking at the end.

I woke up this morning in the house on the ocean, and the bed was shaking from the nor'easter. The water was angry grey green, with big rollers breaking far out.

Running along the beaches was a lot of fun: I had the wind at my back. I just leaned into it and moved my feet up and down. The rain felt like little pebbles hitting my coat. I wore the thick fleece tights, which worked fine. As J-J says, "Haakendukanlaaginakahookalaleemanana." (There is no bad weather, only bad gear.)

I stopped at numerous Dunkin Donutses to use the facilities and have a drink. Others I scouted but they lacked bathrooms.

Right Achilles tendon is acting up.
