Event: Valley Forge Battle to the End O' Marathon

Orienteering 8:10:00 [3]29.0 mi (16:53 / mi)
Valley Forge O Marathon. With Valerie the first half, and bookending the 2nd half. Glad I did it! Valerie saved my butt a couple times, including when I wanted to go up and over Mt Misery.

Getting there and back was quite pleasant as Clint & J-J did most of the driving and I napped in the back seat.

On the way back into Boston, 95.3 FM was playing Romanian hip-hop, which was pretty excellent. Apparently they're going to play "Romance language hip-hop" for 8 hours a day on January 8th & 9th.

Tuesday Dec 11

Bicycling 30:00 [2]
Cold. Home school work home.

Monday Dec 10

Bicycling 30:00 [1]
to work then school then work then home.
Met with the French teacher at the school to start on the next project: a family movie night, showing Ratatouille in French with English subtitles.
Figured out that I have to get a license for showing the movie, which costs $75 (since it's not a home viewing or for a class). Not sure how I'm going to work the A/V equipment yet.
The teacher is going to have the students develop and film skits (in French) ahead of time, and we'll show the best ones as shorts before the movie.
