Hike to Jussdalsvatnet. Beautiful lake, crystal clear with lots of trout. Took a long break to swim and write. Little detour over a small summit on the way back. Ankle feeling good.

Up the gravel road towards Lønahorgi. Tough and steep climb, but still doable. Bit too tired to go up till the end of the road, would've been about 2km/300hm more. Enjoyed the silence up on top and spotted my first cloudberry field! Warm and sunny once again today.

Up to Sonvesasen, one of the few places around here I haven't visited at all yet. Lovely conditions, drizzle and low hanging clouds. Had to walk on some of the climb because it was too steep.

Not much time last week to cycle, so happy to get out. Around the lake. Awesome downhill just before crossing to the other side of the lake.

Ankle update: No problems walking, swelling pretty much gone, but still blueish. Going to wait a bit longer before picking up hiking/running.

First run again after giving the left ankle some rest and noticing there wasn't much reaction after the hike. Steady pace. In my head I was already making plans for longer runs again.

So far so good, but unfortunately around 10k I sprained my right ankle quite badly. Cursed loudly for a few minutes and then hobbled home.

I walked out most of the pain and stiffness and the swelling is not as bad as I expected. Still expect to take a few weeks to recover. To be continued...

Day 2. Mostly off-trail, some steep parts and some snowfields. Great views on the Nærøyfjord and surrounding mountains.

Ankle held up well. Good to be back in the mountains and finally do an overnight trip :)

Small break from running because of the ankle, but luckily I'd just been able to borrow a bike until I have one of my own. Nice trip into Raundalen. Beautiful nature, quiet farmsteads and a wild river. Warm and sunny day. Good to feel the legs burning.
