Hiking 2:33:09 [1] ** 17.85 km (8:35 / km) +220m 8:05 / km
shoes: Inov-8 Roclite 315

Mist 2℃.

Part 2. (GPS died)

Night wasn't so cold, but in an effort to save weight I only took my foam mat. That meant I didn't have much isolation from the cold ground, so while up I was warm, down I felt relatively chilly. Combined with an upcoming sore throat and full nose it was a restless night. Woke up to thick clouds/mist.

Hike was fun, until the crowds of people started showing up. Seemed like everybody gathered in this forest today. Most fun parts were going off the big trails and just following the dune complexes in the forest. Some light rain near the end of the hike.

Most Valuable Item award goes to my comfy mittens. Was doubting if I should take them beforehand, but so happy to not have cold hands.

Partly cloudy 3℃.

Had a cold coming for a few days, but still wanted to go and do this. Started hitching a bit late, so entered the dunes at twilight. First time testing out the bivvy bag and winter sleeping bag. Nice atmosphere.

Just a quickie while dinner was cooking. Didn't really want to go out, but glad I did. Felt very light. Knee good.

Running 1:03:31 intensity: (8:31 @1) + (45:00 @2) + (10:00 @3) ** 11.95 km (5:19 / km) +10m 5:18 / km
shoes: Inov-8 F-Lite 240

Partly cloudy 8℃.

Dusk run. Took a 1:50k map and headlamp with me to explore some roads I'd never been. Fun. Had to climb a fence on the way back, but I knew that because I'd done that once with the MTB a few years ago. Forest part with headlamp was the most fun :)

Legs feeling great, these runs feel good and at the moment I don't have any incentive to do faster intervals or whatever. Knee fine. Should maybe take it to the physio, but since it's always better after a rest day and I don't feel like running more at the moment it also works fine like it is. Right hip a bit stiff after 9k.
