Drizzle 3℃.

Bit shorter to not aggravate the knee pain. Was fine, not perfect but no huge discomfort. Managed to avoid most of the icy roads.

Sunny 5℃.

MWC 2, Paalberg. Distance 8,2km (6'43"/km).
Map.
Splits.

Overnight it snowed, so everything was covered in a nice 3-4cm of snow. Map print was not good at all, too light and very hard to read.
Had planned to keep the pace down and I did. Felt comfortable all the way. Hard to focus well on navigating though, because I wasn't in a racing mindset and took things a bit careless.
Not having fun in the first bit when I couldn't read the map and the forest was covered in brambles. Made several mistakes there. Much better once the route got to the open sunny area.

Right knee was really stiff and hurting at some point (around 19), but that feeling disappeared after the finish. No problems while cooling down. No idea why it suddenly came up, but I'll watch it. Might be the cold, the snow or the fact I was running in a much different way through the terrain as opposed to on the road. Toe was fine in orienteering shoes.

Overcast -2℃.

Random route through the wilderness north of the city. Nice to have colder temps and therefore trails that are runnable and not covered in mud. Very enjoyable run.

Achilles still not perfect, but if I can run almost 20k in two days pretty much without discomfort I'm not worried.

Hamstrings still a bit tight, especially right side. Achilles feeling a bit tired but not too bad. Had problems to get going, but after a few min found a nice rhythm and things went smoothly.

Not so fast today, but that's fine. Hamstrings a bit tight from exercises yesterday. Other than that feeling fine. Nice sunset over the river :)

Partly cloudy 1℃.

Woke up with the old tick in achilles again. Since it's on both sides and I know it's just soreness/tiredness it doesn't really bother me. Calf getting better but slowly. Right toe pretty much fine again, also iced it yesterday.

Might've been better off with a rest day but weather was nice and I felt like running. Body tired.
