Schloss Höch. After work.

Was planning on a Reitdorf-tour but felt like doing more. Freshly groomed trails, yay.

Legs feeling good but still taking a rest day tomorrow. Right toe gets a bit painful every xc session, but doesn't get worse or bother me with other training. Still an old persistent injury to watch.

Easy recovery run in the splendid sun. Little detour to check out trail conditions.

Legs tired. Instep right still hurting a bit, maybe also because of snowshoe straps yesterday. Considering to get a pair of Inov-8 Roclite 315's again for this summer's trails, because I really liked them last year.

Blümeck (1695m).

First time snowshoeing! Decided on this after realising skiing powder isn't really safe for me with my current abilities.

Didn't eat enough beforehand and bonked a bit going up. Much slower going than I expected, snow was very soft and most of the way I had to make my own trail. Beautiful sunny warm day, springlike. Wore just a shirt most of the way up.

Enjoyed picking my own route in the forest with a map in hand ;) 2h03' up, 1h06' down.

Flachauwinkl. With Erik.

Easy pace; I was feeling my legs and Erik does classic so is a bit slower. Worked out perfect, I just wanted to add some volume to my day without going at it too hard.

44' there, 38' back. Beautiful night sky.

On touring skis because this was faster than the bus. Frustrated with my lack of skill.

Shortened my planned route because daylight was running out and I was slower than expected. Really couldn't manage the downhill, frustrating. Beautiful sunset from the tiny summit I climbed though! 1h33' up, 26' down.

Tough conditions because of the new snow. Lots of people on the slopes!

Reitdorf. Lunchtime.

Was hoping to do the same as last monday, but 10-20cm of snow overnight made the tracks very slow and in some places nonexistent. Quite strong winds and still some snowfall, but not cold.

Easy run after work. Body a little tired but mentally feeling very good. Pace felt easy.

Roads not too slippery and mostly cleared from snow.
