Another Tabata session: 2 rounds of bike, horrendous in-out planks and jump squats, and 15 kg kettle bell (which I did instead of sprints). It was tough, but didn't sweat quite as many buckets as I did on Wednesday.
Pleasant ride in with Cathy although we were both a bit buggered. Had a bit of a headwind along Sandy Bay Rd so lets hope it picks up and maintains the same direction for a speedy ride home. Might even put Strava on it...maybe crack the top 1000 for that route.

Zippy ride home with Cathy. Very hot - needed a drink stop at the top of Bonnet.
So I was semi-planning to go orienteering today or at least for a run on Kingston Beach. But when I got to my car (17 mins walk) I discovered that I had left my keys in my locker back at work. So I ran back over Battery Point (up Nanny Goat lane and down Kelly's Steps), picked up keys and ran back to car (up Kelly's Steps etc). Was disappointed to discover the total time for these two runs was on only 20 mins, since those steps felt SO easy after all that lunchtime torture.
Believe it or not this is the second time I have done this - the last time was a bit more stressful though because I left keys in the outside bike cage lock as I was riding and didn't get them back until the next day.
Moral of the story: I am an idiot. But at least I am a fit idiot.
