To/from the gym on the roadie. Either it's much quicker than the MTB or I've been exaggerating my gym commute for the past few weeks.

Cross training 30:00 [3]

Quickie reverse pyramid squat sessions with some sit ups and box jumps thrown in:

8 x 50 kg, 12 x 45 kg, 15 x 40 kg then back up again.

Cruise around Launnie out past the country club and through Blackstone Heights with Jo W. Nice to dust the cobwebs off the roadie.

Easy run (apart from the hills) around the gorge with Jo W. Walked a bit of the last hill but ran the last km.

Watson's Rd with Kettering Walkers. Was planning another gym session but shoulder was a bit sore.

Jo's loop on Mt Wellington. Ran most of it and felt a bit twingey in the Achilles near the end but pulled up OK.

Monday Jan 2, 2017 #

Cross training 50:00 [3]

Planned to go to a class but no one was there so I made dad suffer through a Tabata session with me.

8 x 20 seconds on 10 seconds off:

- cycling
- plank
- rowing
- squat jumps (ugh)
- superman
- box jumps
- weighted walking lunges.

Didn't fell quite as bad as last week.
