Run 25:00 [3]

Discovered a new trick to create more interesting runs. I have been catching the train a couple of stations and then running home through as many parks as I can string together. I only went to Richmond today and then back through Botanic Gardens and Fawkner Park. Nice.

Run 45:00 [3]

Today is the day that our monster electricity bill is due. Didn't think such a little apartment could cost so much to heat. Although flattie is convinved the culprit is the dishwasher which is somewhat tempremental (and hardly ever used). Anyway, rather than pay the bill I went for a run. And it was a lovely one.

Run 35:00 [4] 6.5 km (5:23 / km) +10m 5:21 / km

Around Albert Park one and a bit times. Tried to find any kind of hill-type feature, but not much happening in the park. Having NZ hill withdrawal.

Run (Run) 45:00 [2] 7.0 km (6:26 / km)

Hard to even describe this as a jog, more like a sleep walk having had only 4 hours sleep the night before. Impressed I even managed to put my runners on. A muggy day so had to stop by every water stop along the way from prahran to albert park. Arrived at my destination to find no one home so lay on the porch for an hour and caught up on some sleep. Was awakened by the arrival of my gorgeous but hyperactive 2 year old nephew. He was operating on his full sleep quota.

Run 30:00 [3] 5.0 km (6:00 / km)

Lap of Faulkner plus extra bits. Hundreds of people in the park from the offices and hospital in close proximity. Most people out having a ciggie break. Meant running past clouds of smoke. But that still doesn't explain why this run felt so hard.

Run hills 45:00 [3]

Another hilly forest park in Wellington. Too many short sharp inclines for me. Delerious after 20 mins, felt like crying after 25mins, took flatter route and left Shelly to climb her little heart out. Need chocolate.
