Running Training tempo (Mixed Trail) 1:16:39 [3] 14.13 km (5:25 / km)
(sick) shoes: Saucony Progrid Ride 3 (Blue)

Trail run with Buckingham & Stowe Runners round Buckingham. 1st evening run in daylight, low sun and blue sky = gorgeous but freezing run.
Lovely route from Swan Pool to Radclive then along Stowe Ave back thru town.
Slow to start but felt Ok so sped up to catch leaders. Ended up hacking along at about 4:45/km for latter parts.
This did my cough no good at all!
Warm down run back with Alex felt awful ad was shivering whilst running.

JK Day 2
After worst night in a Travelodge ever, then breakfast with the Burger King I wasn't feeling great. Cough bad, legs tired. Knew I couldn't race so wandered through #1 then back via road to finish and to retire again.
We left pretty sharp from event, so so cold.

JK Day 1
Still feeling awful, cough really bad and felt lethargic when I tried to run. Still not enjoying food, every bite is forced.
Tried to run to #1, really hard going. Had to walk to #2 and #3. After #4 I changed plan and picked off couple more before heading back through last few.
Met Keiran Rocks, we plodded along chatting, he was injured.
Sad times retiring from JK. :(

So... Cough still there 1st thing. Stomach muscles really really suffering this morning after a bad end to last night as cough worsened.
Easing off again now, more cold like symptoms now, back less sore, still stiff. Think more walking and then jogging will help it ease off.
There's a light at the end of this mucus filled tunnel...

Lurgy update...
Woken many many times during the night by a toddler who was feverish and needed water, the loo, water again, and so on... had taken over an hour to get to sleep in the 1st place due to cough making me double up in pain each time. (I'd cough causing me to scrunch up my stomach hurting the muscles, but it would tweak my acheing back causing me to recoil in pain again...)
Anyway made it into work, feeling dehydrated, still coughing but not nearly as badly. Feel altogether more human today, just need to ease the back into life again, and lose the cough. I might actually feel normal by Saturday...
