shoes: Adizero XT4 - Blue/Fire 2015

Afternoon run with Chris C. Struggled on a couple of the ups, wasn't expecting to find it tough. Quite muggy so very sweaty with race pack on keeping myself used to the weight for Glencoe.
No idea how fast I can go... I'm strong some days, not others.

Left big toenail caused blister inside the for last week now. Idiot attempt to cut before Comrie... Can't get to blister...

Early morning run in rain in Aberdeen after dropping parents off at airport. Nice route up through Johnstone Gardens, Walker Dam then across the Hazlehead Pk. Up across old caravan park then down Queens Rd, loop back around Walker Dam then back to car via Johnstone Gdns again and final loop around Seafield Road and Kepplestone.

Felt quite good, bit wet later on but not too bad... why don't I do this more often? Sleep... that's why. I don't go to bed early enough.

Running Training hills (Trail) 1:40:03 [4] 14.02 km (7:08 / km) +667m 5:46 / km
shoes: Inov-8 X-Talon 212 - Claret/Sk

Double Kerloch in fog and darkness. Headded up from Heatheryhaugh farm where pal had dropped off his dog at kennels, up onto the Builg path then found huge new forest track heading half way up the hill (probably a new track for the foresters)
Slog up the really badly washed out steep stuff to summit, quick rest out of wind then down north side to track junction before returning back up to summit and retracing steps.
Really tough in the fog, reflections on headlight madesign distance judgement tricky. Spotting trailheads was tough.
Felt better coming back up second time... That's good right?
