Parked at harbour so fast run to make the start of session across town, then long w/up via Cowie and town centre.

Continuous hills on the Robert St/Mary St crucifix. Hard up to crossroads, left up to Gurney St, hard back down. Hard up to nursing home and back. Hard up to crossroads, right down to Ann St, hard up to crossroads and easy down to start.

No rest. 5 sets. Felt full of dinner from about halfway through set 3, back started to stiffen during set 4.

Fitting in a turbo session to make me feel like I'd done something instead of missing the DNC. Watching Still Game is a good way to while away 30 mins on the bike and I was sweating buckets at end but HR very low so reduced intensity from 4 to 3.

Note

Back so stiff in the mornings. Struggling to stretch the ache out of it. Still got to wait about another 10 weeks before I can see specialist at Woodend Hospital... getting fed up, not able to push myself on into winter season.

Early morning frosty trail run with Neil, Chris and Steve T around Cheyne Hill. Feeling stiff in the back before this, loosened off a bit but wasn't so good later on standing around a beer festival in Fife all afternoon.
