Pete, Mike and I met at Clinton for some training. We used a modified lidar map, and practiced route choice. We would stand at the control, and discuss options to the next control. Then we would each take off on a different route, and meet up at the next control. It was good training. Good to talk about options, plan your route, and push hard to get to the control. I worked harder than I would have on my own. I got tired in the middle, and skipped control 5. Fun lunch at Runza after wards (a first for all of us), where we discussed the options of traveling around Europe with a 2 year old: by rail or car?

We got out of work an hour early, so I decided to run at SMP. I had forgotten how flat and firm these trails are; it was like running on pavement. Wweee!!! Also nice to run in the daylight again.

PT 1 [0]

I wasn't going to do anything (physical) today. But a sunny 65 degree day in November? I just had to get outside. So I walked around a little bit at Clinton, checking out Peggy's course. I went to one location where I had never been before. It was an old fence, which was hard to see. But the line of fine old trees that marked the property line was great to see.

I've been very good with stretching every day, but I had dropped off the PT, thinking everything was fine again. Not so. Back to regular PT for me, to build up the left quad.
