Beautiful fall day, sunny, windy and temps in the 70s. I wanted to move around in the woods, to build up my endurance. I went out on a draft map of Clinton, basically lidar with trails. I should have drawn north lines on the map, which can explain part of my debacle leaving 3. Pace through the woods was really uneven, depending on the vegetation. Still needs lots of practice on pushing through the crappy stuff. My route

One move that I that would be really tough, but I managed to do OK tonight: Squats, with arms crossed, while standing on a half exercise ball thingee (I don't know the real name of this; maybe stability or balance unit?)

So happy that I now live in a state with advance voting. For the first time, I voted in the presidential election a week a head of time, with no lines and no fuss. I liked it. Much more civilized than forcing everyone to vote on just one day.

Checking out my course for Geo Awareness Week. I don't know if we'll get overlap from last year's attendees, but I figured it was better to set a new course any way. Maybe we can alternate these two courses over the next few years.
