orienteer 1:23:12 [3] 5.2 km (16:00 / km) +212m 13:17 / km

A terrible day. I just couldn't seem to keep my map oriented. And a lot of brain dead moments. I was tired.

I love being able to update AP minutes after I've finished!

A decent run. Some bobbles on a few controls, and a lot of hesitation and confusion on 10. Otherwise I moved continuously if slowly. Yet my Garmin said I was not moving for 14 minutes of total. Maybe it thinks I'm standing still when I'm moving so slowly up a big hill?

Mike had made a base map of Buford Park in Georgia. We stopped for a short map hike. It was nice to get outdoors on a travel day.

At first I had Mike's mild cold. But there is something nasty going around at work, and I fear I have it now. Feeling much more tired and achy today. Also, had quite a few moments of "What was I going to do?" and staring into space for a minute or two. Does not bode well for good runs in Georgia this weekend....

I was tired of being cooped up all day yesterday and today, and it was relatively warm out tonight, so I went out for a brisk walk around the Holcom map. I tried to keep moving the whole time, but i had to stop once to get out my Petzel light, and another time to blow my nose (for a total of 40 seconds). Practiced looking at the map more often.
