Mike downloaded the 2015 Lidar data and is making a new map of Clinton State Park. We went out there today to run the trails and get GPS tracks. We went separate directions. It was fun to run on a map with no trails, and concentrate on your location. I also looked at the vegetation mapping (a bit too thick for most areas), some small contour details, and four control locations.

And I tested out my new hiking/trail running shoes that I bought for our NZ trip. They passed with flying colors!

Time to start preparing for my annual 5K race. I decided to just run tonight, and see how I felt, and what was the time. I found a route on west campus that includes a big hill (bigger than the actual course) to use for my training course. My goal this year is a PR., which can be just 1 second faster than last year :)

cycle 40:00 [2]

Beautiful 20c day, sunny and not too windy, perfect for a bike ride. I spent the whole ride ranting and raving (in my head) about a situation at work, and came home feeling much refreshed.
