It is supposed to work the core, but that is not where I feel it. I feel it in the top of my thigh. Why? Can anyone help me figure this out? What muscle is this?

Mike and I hit the Clinton trails early this morning. This was a slog in the heat and humidity. Glad I did repeats of 4 jog/1 walk.

Got some adrenaline going when I almost stepped on a snake; made me shriek out loud! Thankfully, I rarely see snakes on this trail.

Wow, this was a close call. It was about 5:00. I had just entered my training from earlier in the day, and was preparing to make dinner. I needed a quick dinner, because I was planning to meet Sandy at 6:30 for a movie.

Something made me look at my training log for the week. Wait, did I orienteer this week?? No I had not! Mike kindly agreed to draw me some courses on his mini-map of Pioneer Cemetery, and I drove up there to run three short sprints.

Made it back with just enough time to cook, eat and meet Sandy. And I kept my streak alive!

Nice evening ride with Mike to Culvers for dinner (and back). Hot out there, but this was needed after a stressful few days at work.
