weights 30:00 [3]

aerobics 20:00 [2]

Another sunny day in Scotland! I went for a walk this afternoon on an Open Orienteering Map Mike had made of the area around our office.

Did a bit of weightlifting before dinner. Then danced around as I packed after dinner. Why yes, I did have a few drinks at dinner, why do you ask?

Managed to train about 3 hours this week, which is pretty good for a work trip. There's a chance I might add some time at airport hotel tomorrow night, or when I arrive home Sat evening.

run/walk 20:37 [3] 2.33 km (8:51 / km) +9m 8:42 / km

This was the first sunny day I've ever seen in Scotland, so I couldn't waste it. Had just enough time to go for a short jog on the beach before dinner.

I chose the hotel near work that has a gym, so I couldn't let it go to waste. I enjoyed "hiking" through NZ while listening to a podcast.

walk 30:00 [1]

My brother is a member of Kew Gardens. The gates open at 8 am for members only (public arrives at 10). So we walked around the grounds for 2 hours and barely saw anyone else. It was splendid. I had never been here before. It was bigger than I expected, and had tons of trees. I really enjoyed the treetop walk.

orienteer 12:47 [3] 1.32 km (9:42 / km) +4m 9:34 / km

orienteer 30:51 [3] 2.88 km (10:44 / km) +3m 10:41 / km

Discovered that SLOW(love that club name!) had mapped Barnes Commons, which is 2 blocks from Denis's house. Did a screen shot of a RouteGadget blank map, and copied a course I had found. Plus another short course.

I had difficulty reading the map, which I thought was due to the poor image quality. When I got home, I discovered that I had mixed up my contacts, and my distance lens was in my reading eye!
