2nd time i've used my apartment's pool, and 1st time i'm getting used to goggles. Without the chlorine burning my eyes this time i managed to swim twice the amount...still feeble compared to any actual swimmer. 18 laps with a minutes rest between the 4th, 8th and 12th.
Day 1 of 8 week glute definition program. Last day of high weights before reverting back to high reps.
Low weights, high reps.
Glutes - db calf jump, machine leg press, db lunge, calf raises
Stopped for 1 minute walking 3 times. Longest run in new shoes, and there seems to be some teething problems. Right ITB sensitive, but bizarrely left ITB doesn't want to be ignored and was sorer than the right! Starting this weekend i'm commencing a 1 month glutes and core definition plan to get them back on track...
A clean brisk run on a crispy 1 degree evening. Legs felt fresh and recovered from the last few weeks, i feel ready to step into some consistent training again!
