Craigie to Floreat - inspired by the stage 20 mountain stage in the TDF last night, i decided to ride out from the new home and find myself 6 long and/or steep hills, before turning back and doing another 3 on the way home. A strong headwind from the east made things tougher on the return run.

Hills - Alder way; North Beach road and Clement drive; Ewen street east; Hale road east; Empire ave east; Boulevard west; Empire ave east Ewen street west; Hepburn ave west.

Was wanting to go for a run this morning, but calves are still really sore. I gave it some heavy massaging and long stretches last night. Most importantly, 4 days on, i've learnt to never ever underestimate a game of squash again!

A relaxing pace until the last 4k, where i noticed a couple of scummy draftees hanging off the back of me like a pack of slacker hyenas. Turned it on for the last 2k stretch of no lights but I couldn't shake them, or worse still, they wouldn't overtake me
