Running race (trail) 33:05 [4] 4.1 km (8:04 / km)
shoes: aether tec

O meet at lincoln park felt pretty good considering. Control 4 was messed up. At the best, the area was poorly mapped and at worse it was placed wrong. wasted 3-6 minutes as i attacked from three different trails until I stumbled on it for lack of any other trail that i hadn't been on. Fast legs a bit slow but not too bad

trek home. up road and down trail. follow the blue mark. compass still in bag. we had won and took it easy mostly fast hiking. On the final climb, numa came moving up like a freight train. Had they gone back and got the control they missed because they were looking like they were moving in for the win. We turned it up but they just blew past us. Their lead guy was towing both of the others.

We came in a few minutes behind but they were short a control so we won.

Great race. Mari is bad ass. next week nationals and them abu dabi in Dec.
