WIOL seward park. still tired and slow but Ispent 9 minutes on the second last control

paddle around mercer isl with Matt, RVG and JVG. nice paddle started out easy and the rvg let loose on the back side in the double with JVG. It was definitely tempo pace in the single for me

i am exhausted today. Thinking that the race is caughting up with me. Tried to play soccer but I could barely walk.

Paddle around fox isl. I think that this was my longest time. It didn't look too bad but on the south side I spend an hour going headlong into 20kt winds and 2-3ft swells. Real Grinder. welcome to winter paddling in the PNW

spin class. I was knackered. i thought that It wouldn't be too bad but the minute i started pushing my HR shot through the roof. I was worked hard

Below is the outline of the race. I will need to go back and put in the correct time, mileage, and climb info later when available. If Matt, Sean or miles have more info let me know, I have total gain of 16550. It was a great race and the community was very involved. there were loads of friendly volunteers.

I realized at this race that I get very miopic during races. almost to the point of tunnel vision. After the canoe drag to the cp I can remember asking Sean WTF was taking him so long and throwing all sorts of cuse words at him and generally degrading his manhood.

As we were heading our Mari told me to tone it down because of all the families and children around. I could not remember seeing any people standing around except for the TA gal or guy.
