The much awaited QOC meet at Prince William Forest. My mindset was to proceed slowly and reduce the errors. The previous time I ran here was 10+ years ago and terrain was baffling. Began by immediately destroying my confidence and making two early substantial errors on controls 2 & 3. After that settled down and became one with the map. The forest was less runnable as I remember. Lot’s of deadfall and stickers. The vegetation needed updating. All in all a good learning experience and our results were pretty good for two old people. (Leslie had her best run of the winter.)
