The four of us walked to the Coliseum and took the tour, followed by a short tour of the Roman Forum. Back across the river to our now favorite restaurant. More pasta and then home. Night walk for Gelato.

A memorable walk along the Appian Way with Charlie, Rhonda and their friends Tullio and Julia. Tullio then took us to a spectacular section of the Roman aqueduct. Then a great dinner with everyone. Superb day.

Haven’t tried to jog a mile for awhile. Ran very slowly along the BART path in 13:27. Pretty easy.

It is evident that I must lose weight before the Transplant Games in June. But how to do that in the land of pasta and gelato.
