Shadowed four DCA cadets on the Indian Valley Yellow Course. They are real nice kids. So much fun to watch them enjoying orienteering.

Indian Valley Brown. Tired from the tough Yellow course. And the temperature was heating up into the 70’s. The first half of the course was quite steep and I was not sure if I was going to make it through. But looking ahead I saw that the third half of the course was physically easier and was able to jog some of the trail/road portions. Made a few bobbles and took a poor route choice on #3 that cost me 2-3 minutes. Otherwise I was happy with my performance and how I physically held it together. Another steep BAOC course under my belt.
