Met Dennis at Lakeside Park in Oakland for a Saturday morning training. The idea for me was to run two 6 minute courses at faster then normal race pace. Since I was familiar with the park and the terrain is simple it was easy to accomplish. Tried out my old Inov8 spikes on the first leg and they worked fine for me. Afterwards we walked to the nearby Ethiopian Restaurant. Quite a nice day.

Practice Course at McLaren Park. Day was hot and dusty. Lot of free roamng dogs left off leash by their dog walkers. Some of them (the dogs) were interested in me. So my mind wasn't in it. Decided to cutout early and traiin again tomorrow at Lakeside Park in Oakland.
