Beautiful hike through the Back Hills. Leslie instead took a nap open the grass. Started several white tail deer. Saw my first snake, just a small garter snake crossing the path. This is #50. #49 was yesterday, ND. #48 was Minnesota in 1997.

Walk with Leslie around Theodore Roosevelt Nat’l Park. First tried a walk and encountered a herd of Buffalo. Decided to drive to another spot. Along the way we saw turkeys, prairie dogs and hardly any humans.

Hiked with Leslie part way around Jenny Lake at Grand Teton NP. The trail was quite crowded so we were constantly stepping off the trail to avoid unmasked hikers. The air had cleared somewhat from yesterday and we had some fine views of the Tetons.
