Bon Tempe practice course prepared for us by Dennis. Leslie started 4 minutes behind me. I did not see her on the course. Made a few errors. So nice to be out doing again after all these months, but I felt like a weak kneed novice.
S-1 Had real trouble climbing this hill. As usual could not get my HR upon beginning exercise, so just srumbled along, stopping twice. After arriving at the top of the ridge, no problem to find the rocks.
1-2 Pretty easy since I saw the newly mapped downed tree quite a distance away. Behind it was were the rocks.
2-3 Quite a bi=g error. Made the mistake of thinking I could easily get through medium green, Was pushed to the left and had to fight my way down anyway I could. Landed about 100m north of the saddle and came back over.
3-4 followed clearing down towards the saddle.
4-5 Screwed pop this one. Inexpicably went too high and had to correct.
5-6 Straight up the hill.
6-7 Over to the steps and through the yellow to the tree.
7-8 Along the ridge to the rocks.
Took a circuitous route back the finish to avoid the steep descent.
