Pickleball 1:30:00 [1]
My goal was to play right-handed when at the baseline, and left-handed when at the NVZ line, so save wear and tear on my partially torn rotator cuff muscles, but it didn't exactly work that way all the time. I sometimes intentionally stayed in no-man's land to avoid hitting high (above my shoulder) shots, and other times came up to the NVZ line still playing right-handed but very consciously avoiding doing any shots with my right elbow higher than my shoulder. I later had a talk on the phone with my family doctor who strongly recommends giving up pickleball for 6 months to really let my shoulder heal. Unfortunately, he's probably right.
