Running 56:36 [2] 6.16 mi (9:11 / mi) +295ft 8:47 / mi
max:145 weight:175.5lbs shoes: Asics Gel Nimbus 11

Early afternoon run, mainly on roads, with Homer. Ran over to Maple, up to Klem, Klem to Hojack, Hojack to Van Alstyne, to Herman, to Drumm, Klem, Maple, and back home.

Roads in real nice shape for running; Klem especially (shoulder totally clear of snow, and dry). Hojack Trail OK, but trail shoes would have been a bit better than the road shoes I had.

Running 30:14 [3] 2.73 mi (11:04 / mi)
weight:179lbs shoes: Montrail Mountain Masochist

Late afternoon run at Whiting Rd trails, after driving back from Holiday Valley.

Did the perimeter trail. Trail for the most part was well packed and not particularly slick, but it was certainly harder work than with no snow.

Went with Anne and Homer. Anne was going slower, so I went at my own pace and doubled back a few times so as to not get too far removed from each other.

Downhill skiing 1:00:00 [3]

First of two ski days at Holiday Valley, with Cheryl and Anne.

Did NASTAR race, approx 6 runs down the course. Qualified for Silver, which isn't all that tough to do since their system is age-calibrated and I'm very old. First time trying to race with GS type skis, and they definitely helped, it seemed .. will need to compare my performance to when I last did NASTAR, a couple of years ago.

Walking 48:00 [1] 3.0 mi (16:00 / mi)
shoes: Hiking boots

Dog walk in Webster Park. Partly to give Homer a walk before we drop him off at the sitter's, so we can go down to Holiday Valley to ski for a few days, and partly so I could try out the new Garmin 60 GPS purchased for the club.

The park was very nice this morning. I started at the gravel parking lot off of Holt Rd near the stream, and walked trails towards the SE part of the park.
