Snowblowing with an intensity of "1" is certainly much faster and more pleasant than snow shoveling with a much higher intensity ... Our driveway and walk are nicely cleaned of snow.

Dog walk on a snowy, blustery day.

Snowblower wouldn't fire up -- my fault for not even trying it until a snowstorm hit. So Cheryl and I did some shoveling. I'm fairly limited by my hand which is still recovering from carpal tunnel surgery, so I couldn't so a lot of lifting; I mainly did pushing, shoving snow off to the side of the driveway.

Snowblower is running! Thanks to a 9:30 pm house call by my snowblower repairman (who fortunately lives only 5 minutes away). Apparently nothing serious -- he just knows how to fiddle productively whereas I don't. Some fiddling plus some starter fluid and it got going. So I gave the driveway and our walkway a much better cleaning than the shoveling had done.

Late evening walk with dogs, longer than normal, around the big block. More for me than them, as this was my first and only walk of the day since I worked at Bristol.

Both dogs this time! It was a bit of a handful since my right hand was protected by a stocking cap, with rubber bands to hold it in place (still can't get a glove on). So my right hand dexterity was quite limited. Had a few problems but for the most part, it worked OK. Generally held both leashes in my left hand.
