Ski-O at Mendon, done by me with shoes rather than skis. Score-O. Overall, I was rather shocked at how relatively well I did, vs my expectations. I haven't been running much in the last year or so, and not at all in the last 3 weeks due to a bad cold/cough which finally seems like it's going away.
At first I had no intent of getting all of the controls, but after about 30 minutes, given how many controls I had done and how many were left, it appeared quite possible to get them all, and I did, with about 13 minutes to spare. I had a slightly bad route choice off the bat by not getting #18 as my 3rd control; 18 was fairly close (about 500 m straight line) to the start, but pretty much out of the way from any other control. Since I initially had no intent of getting them all, it seems like 18 was a good one to skip. So I had to do that at the very end, covering more distance than if I had done it after #17 initially.
When I left, I was a rather surprising 6th overall.
It did help that the course setting seemed to favor runners vs skiers though.
