Sunday Aug 11 #

4 PM

Run/walk 49:31 [3] 5.01 mi (9:54 / mi) +50ft 9:48 / mi
shoes: Hoka Conquest 2

Neighborhood run. Ran 5 min / walked 1 min, usually. All on the clock. One off the clock stop near the very end, waiting to cross Bay Rd.

10 AM

Orienteering 27:29 [1] 1.49 mi (18:30 / mi) +141ft 16:58 / mi
shoes: NB 410 v5

Shadowing Fred on the White course. My GPS didn't find satellites until a few minutes into the course. Actual time was 30:25, third place out of 13.

Orienteering 47:51 [1] 2.28 mi (20:59 / mi) +219ft 19:14 / mi
shoes: NB 410 v5

Mendon Score-O with Fred. I did the bulk of the navigating. He impressed me at his new-found running ability though. Got 11 controls for 33rd out of 38. We had 12 minutes left and could have almost certainly gotten two (or so) more controls, but we had to get back in time to get him home by noon to have him picked up by his other grandparents.

Friday Aug 9 #

9 AM

Running 32:09 [3] 3.3 mi (9:44 / mi) +124ft 9:24 / mi
shoes: Montrail Bajada III size 11.0

Road run, from Webster Park. First time in a LONG time that I've run continuously with no walking breaks (I even took walking breaks in the three 5K's I ran in July). It probably helped that it was moderately cool (around 70) with a nice, low 57 degree dew point.

Thursday Aug 8 #

9 AM

Run/walk 30:23 [3] 3.01 mi (10:05 / mi) +81ft 9:50 / mi
shoes: Saucony Grid Cohesion

Creek Street, with trailsnail. Two walking breaks, on the clock.

Wednesday Aug 7 #

9 AM

Run/walk 39:01 [3] 3.9 mi (10:01 / mi) +55ft 9:53 / mi
shoes: Montrail Bajada III size 11.0

Rainy run on the Rt 104 bike path, with trailsnail. The usual 4 min run / 1 min walk.

Tuesday Aug 6 #

9 AM

Pickleball 1:30:00 [2]

Lesson at Tennis Club of Rochester. Seems well worth it, so far (it's a 3-session class, this was the first).

Monday Aug 5 #

10 AM

Run/walk ("Long") 1:09:02 [3] 6.65 mi (10:23 / mi) +181ft 10:07 / mi
shoes: Saucony Grid Cohesion

Canal path, mainly. Took a side path (towpath along the old Erie Canal, I believe) that winds up in back of Pittsford Plaza, then a bit on Clover St and French Rd.

Longest run in ages. No water stops. Ran 4 minutes, walked 1 minute, all on the clock.

More climb than I would have expected for a canal run, but much of that was on the side trail and on Clover Street.
3 PM

Pickleball 1:15:00 [2]

Webster Park. About 45 minutes of drilling, and maybe 30 minutes of playing three games. Right handed.
