Run/walk 52:01 [3] 5.26 mi (9:53 / mi) +79ft 9:45 / mi
shoes: Hoka Conquest 2

Urban run. I took a number of 1-minute walking breaks but there was no set interval, and my goal was to minimize the number, and maximize the number of minutes of running between them. Five walking breaks total.

Monday Aug 12 #

2 PM

Run/walk 10:53 [2] 1.01 mi (10:48 / mi) +2ft 10:47 / mi
shoes: Montrail Bajada III size 11.0

Only 1 mile, about 3.5 loops on the road around the tennis courts at Webster Park, but what is significant is that I did it with my grandson Fred, who up until about a year ago was totally non-athletic, and not someone I ever thought I'd do a run with. We ran 90 seconds, walked 30 seconds, repeat til done (although the last two walking breaks, he asked for 45 seconds instead of 30 seconds).
3 PM
