Open Panevezys city duathlon champs. Took the lead almost from the beginning and ran at the front ~3.5km, later Latvian guy went to the front. Finished 4th with ~10sec gap from the leader. Went 3rd to the bicycle stage.

5x3.86km laps. As i don't have road bicycle (cycling on MTB) i knew that i hardly could keep my position. Started together with Arūnas Balčiūnas, but i could not keep his pace. At the second lap one more guy with a road bicycle overtook me. Later a young guy caught me up and asked if we could work together. At the 4th lap i had a bad muscle cramp in the left calf and could not bend my leg for some ~20sec. Lost contact with a young guy, but soon two other guys caught me up and together with them we pursued a young guy and finished cycling stage all together.

Ran first(out of my group) from the transition area and kept my position till the end. It was not easy to run after cycling... Finished 5th overall. Time: 1:03:56. 1st and 2nd places took guys from Latvia and third was Arūnas Balčiūnas.
