Good intervals tonight and another good turnout at TN t. 8 X 3min with even pace. Felt nice and strong. Tried to work on lengthening out my stride which is a constant battle for me - but the only way to get faster! (and maybe not trip as much...) :)

Good run with Bob to clear the lactic acid that had built up in my glutes from sitting on them at the library all day. Phew!

Sore pecs and traps today from yesterday's circuit!!! That's always good news since I'm pretty sure that I have a tough time really pushing myself with strength workouts. My plan is to stick with it and end up loving it and becoming toned and buff and hard as bobkitten steel. Updates to follow...

Found a cool field with the occasional bench around its perimeter. I ran around the field and everytime I came to a bench I would spend a minute doing some strength exercises: sit-ups, sit-up twists, step-ups, planks, jump squats, push ups, one-armed incline push-ups.

Fun to do some strength stuff. My arms feel like jello!

Awesome day up on the home turf. Was so happy to be running around in some trails that I at one point considered to be in my backyard! The hills ablaze with fall colours and the glorious sunshine certainly made up for the occasional sprinkles of rain while Leanimal and I pushed ourselves through the trails and woods.

Awesome time. Can't wait 'till next year...or RTH for that matter!

Finally made it out to my first TNT night of the season! Good big group, too bad zoo wimped out....I decided to not push myself super hard on the intervals since I haven't done ANY in the last couple of months, and since Leanimal and I have a stellar performance to put in this weekend in Ottawa. Felt good though, and was happy that I was still able to push the pace. Ankle felt great.

Yes! I actually logged something! :)

Nice blustery day for a run up on to the golf course and the Bruce trails. I was in and out on the trails, a did a few lung-bursting sets up the Chedoke stairs. Headed back on some nice flat sections to losen up the legs and pick up the tempo a bit.

Felt pretty good. My confidence in my ankle is really getting better. My confidence in my lung power is really getting worse. :)

There won't be much running in that 8hr rogaine on the weekend, right?
