| 10 X Aberdeen Loop (3min) with 1min rests in between. Had to seriously cut some of the corners in order to keep up with the boys, especially on the middle few intervals. Sudden, TVP, Tommy Hillflyer, and Greta all made it out for the soggy fun.
I've been feeling pretty wiped these days. Maybe I need more sleep? Better food? For the record, I'm making a commitment to pop iron pills daily starting today. |

| Good hard run up at the Vivian Thomass! Manged to keep up with the boys pretty well since the nav wasn't actually all that hard and it was a lot of leg work and hill climbing. I love my new compass! |

| Headed up to Hardwood after the O-race. Did some skating while the new classic sticks were getting waxed up and having the bindings put on, and then headed out for another loop on the classic skis. Legs definitely did not feel 100% and the hills were totally killing me! Wow, really can't remember the last time I felt so wiped out. So I went home and ate some red meat. Yum! |

| Good morning out in the DVC with TVP, Sudden, NKOTB, Superwes, and Greta. Have to admit that I was a little nervous to head out with the group, since I heard that NKOTBs pace-pushing skills had challenged the boys last Saturday, but I guess everyone was feeling the effects of a long week and the pace was comfortable. The hills, however, did still leave my legs feeling like there was something missing from the tank. Maybe I need some more iron, protein, sleep?
Oh, and then I went over and rapped on Bob's door to drag her lazy butt out of bed. Her straggly bedclothes and the sheepish expression on her face pretty much told the story...We'll have to start hiring a marching band to do some laps outside of her place if we want to see her coming out for the early mornings! |

| Three Sisters run with TVP, Bob, Tracy, NKOTB, and Tommy Hillflyer. Was brutally hard and not really what my body was up for tonight. Might have taken a few walkng steps up some of the steeps......but what doesn't kill you, only makes you wasted tired and eventually stronger! |

| Nice day for a run out on Headwaters and Main Loop trails. Parked at the Gatehouse. The trails were in great shape (no icy downhills) and the sun was peeking in through the trees to make me smile. |

| Killer intervals on the Lower SW loop today. First couple felt strong and I was trying to lean forward more and actually move my legs (some people say I run without moving them...hmmm) so I did actually feel powerful! However, either the pasta I ate an hour before, or the fatigue from the weekend caught up to me and the rest of the loops were pure suffering. We did 1 loop, then 2 loops times 3, plus one more 1 looper at the end. Average time for the 1 loops was 3min. Jeff is fast. Greta was excited. The moon was amazingly bright! |

| Wasn't quite sure what to label this day as intensity. It was certainly long, and the uphills get my heart going but the pace felt pretty relaxed on the flats. It was a great day up in the Gats and a good group to be out with: Leanimal, Dog Runner, and La Femme rounded out the Bobkitten contingency while Phatty, Phatts Jr, MaxGrab, Mr. Beaudry, and Frantz provided the testosterone. We started at P7 and went up and around skyline for some sketchy downhills and creek avoidance manoeuvers. Headed out to McKinstry via ridge road and the parkway. Special thanks to Dog Runner for the provision of delicious snacks and wine at the hut!!! |

| TNT tonight with a good crew. Managed to get my classmate Jeff (aka NKOTB) to come out and he impressed the boys with his skills of magic and speed. He'll be a good challenge for Sudden in the speed category so I'm not sure whether clueing him to TNT will be appreciated or not! Now we just need to get a compass in his hand... |

| My patience was tested today as my skis were frustratingly slow and slippy. The trails were frozen ice covered with a fine layer of fresh snow and we were really challenging ourselves by blazing new tracks! I learned today that one of the risks of southern ontario skiing is the fact that the ground cover might be so thin that whilst cruising down hills you may indeed collide with some sticks or rocks which like to jump out at you and knock you down - sending your body careening into the frozen mud pack below. I should probably ice my knee, but the polysporin and bandaids will suffice for now....Special thanks to Leanimal, Bash, and Sian for putting up with my whining. |

| Good sesh tonight at TNT. Nice big crowd with Zoolander, Sudden, Bob, Tracey, TVP, Tommy Hillflyer, and Jayme. East Chedoke hill loop. Managed to do two extended ones but the other four were one long and one short. The lungs felt three times bigger afterward! |

| Nice and easy on the Chedoke trails. It was a beautiful morning and I stopped for a while at a very pretty spot in the woods (this time was, of course, taken off my total running time) to stretch and breathe and just look at the sun shining through the damp and misty branches. The ground was covered with a very thin layer of snow and you could see patches of little green plants growing up through it. Kinda reminded me of spring, Hmmmm. |

| Good day going around in circles up at Hardwood with Leanimal. Not all of the trails were open so our terrain was restricted a little bit. The conditions were okay, but lots of debris on top of the snow. We borrowed some crown skis from the Salomon dudes since it was demo day and they seemed to work well in the tricky warm conditions. I also ended up trying out some fancy Fischer skis and was a little frustrated at first but eventually got used to the teeny amount of klister on the bottom and got to enjoy their speed! Can't wait for next weekends long sessions! |

| Feeling wiped after not being able to sleep last night. What was up with that! Didn't manage to start snoring 'till 3:30a.m.!! So, after only just managing to keep my eyes open in class, and in light of the fact that I have about 50 pages of reading to do for tomorrow, AND there's a new episode of Grey's on tonight, I'm skipping TNT! :) |
