Orienteering 1:32:00 [2]
Tree Hugger Invitational! Amazing event! So fun! Well organized! For a good cause! Too bad I left half my brain at home and forgot how to orienteer, write things down on paper and keep a pen in my hand. Ooopsie! This would have been a better workout for me had I not spent so much time standing in the woods and scratching my head. Need to get out to Thomass so I can practice my stuff!

Calf felt great though - as if nothing was ever wrong.

Thanks again to Bash and 'Bent for a great day!!!

Thursday Jan 11

Running 1:00:00 [2]10 km (6:00 / km)
Winter Rally route x2 with Bob, Hammer, Superwess1000, TVP, Greta, the jbird and Zoolander. Lots of stretching of the legs throughout.

Hurrah! My first run in a week and the calf felt good. Made sure I took it easy and didn't push hard on hills - in fact, I walked the steeper ones. Left ankle did feel a little tight though and reminded me that I'd injured it earlier in the summer. This may have been the trigger for the calf injury in the first place.

Wednesday Jan 10

Note
Physio today. US, massage and laser. On the speedy road to recovery! Should be able to jog tomorrow night.

Tuesday Jan 9

Swimming (Lengths) 10:00 [3]
You, know, swimming with my eys squinty shut because I forgot my goggles. I barely ever swim but felt pretty good considering.
Swimming (Pool Running) 35:00 [3]
Good workout for the lungs and legs. I forgot how good this can be for my running and plan on doing it more regularly. Calf felt good but got a bit sore near the end just with the resistance of the water.
C • Pool Running 23
Note
About 50 min of quick walking up at Chedoke with the TNT group tonight. Calf felt fine but tried jogging a little bit and I could feel it nagging. Hopefully I'll be 100% for a gentle run this Thursday with TNT.

Monday Jan 8

Note
(injured)
Okay, I feel like a total lazy slob, but the calf is still tender enough that I know that if I break out into even a slight run I will risk losing all the healing I've done so far. :(

But I'm on the mend, and will soon be at my best again thanks to the Jillanimal.
Cycling warm up/down (Stationary bike) 30:00 [1]
Had a good gentle spin on the bike at PROformance. Was taking it easy. Calf felt fine. :)
Strength 30:00 [4]
PROformance centre workout with the Imps. Chin-ups, abs, reverse pull-ups, push-ups.
