XC Skiing 2:00:00 [2]
Great 1st ski of the year!!! P8 up Fortune Hill to #1 to Champlain back down the parkway and onto #1 again back down to P8. Great day with some sunshine, decent snow and good company: hansel, Monsieur Beaudry and Susan.

Ahhhh, the Gatineau hills....

Running 1:30:00 [2]
slept:6.0
Nice easy evening with the TNT Runners, which now apparently need to be distinguished from the TNT Skiers. Runners tonight: Jbird, TVP, Bob, Meridian, Greta, Moi. Skiers tonight: Etoile, Hammer, Zoolander. Who looked much more graceful? Runners. Greta likes to jump on skiers.

Ran the winter rally loop with uneven terrain, patches of deep snow and flat light. Makes for good proprioceptive practice and quick reflexes.

Ran back to school via The Long Way.

Running 35:00 [4]
6.5 X 4.5min hilly loops up at Chedoke with the TNT gang. Legs and lungs felt very tired and slow but the footing was great up the hill since hansel's hot speed managed to dry off the pavement.
C • Hansel's so hot right now 10
Running (Stairs) 10:00 [4]
Ouch. Legs even more tired now.....took the stairs slow, but managed to get 'em all done anyhow.

Maybe Monday workouts drain my legs for Tuesday runs?

Orienteering race (Thommass Bradford) 53:13 [4]***
15c slept:7.5
Had a great time at the Thomass course today with Leanimal by my side. At the very last minute we decided to run together and we enjoyed having each other there to put the other to their max - I can definitely say that I wouldn't have been that fast without her!!! Thanks Leanimal!!

It was a beauty day with lots of fresh fluffy snow and lots of good friends.

Found that I was breathing pretty heavy today. This probably has something to do with the combination of my new life as a desk-sitting student and this yucky cold that has been invading my lungs and energy! Hopefully today's race beat it into submission and I will once again be boss.
C • Congrats! 14
