| Day 1 of the Snowgaine was actually more of a mix of snowshoe and running. Dog Runner and I decided to start things off right with a good 6km road run out to a far control. We figured we'd let our brains warm up and spend the time looking over the rest of the map while we trudged down the snowy pavement. We eventually ended up chasing Millhouse and Dee and caught up to the Treehuggers as well. Fun day out there, despite the agony of running down long snowmobile trails which we expected to be plowed roads!! |
