Running 1:00:00 [3]

Slow run with the group. Got to catch up with Myka which is great. The post-holing wasn't so fun in the warm and wet snow. I took it easy.

XC Skiing (Skate) 1:10:00 [3]

Forgot to turn on my watch so I don't have my moving time for this. Casual skate with Matt. He's learning quickly; I'm just waiting for the moment he passes me...

Hockey 1:15:00 [3]

Hockey practice. I feel that the skating is really coming along! Now I just need a new stick as I managed to smush mine by t-boning it into the boards. Rookie move.

Chalking up another loss for the Canmore team. We lost pretty badly this time, but it still so much fun!

Wanted to get some distance in today in preparation for many things, but most notably, eating Christmas cookies. Yes, off to a cookie exchange party tomorrow and one can never be too prepared.

Most the trails were in excellent shape once again. The man-made snow in the stadium area was a little icy, but once out of the crowds (there was an Alberta Cup race on), it was smoother sailing and there was usually nobody else in sight. Well, except for that cute mule deer...

I was pretty bagged by the end of this ski. But not too tired to lick the almond buttercream icing off my mixer beaters!

XC Skiing (Skate) 51:59 [3]

Soul-satisfying solo skate. Sometimes you've just got to drop the hammer.

XC Skiing (Classic) 1:47:20 [3] 17.8 km (6:02 / km)

Social ski down in PLP with nicki, !, Clare, Suzy, and Laura N. The conditions are great right now for nordic. The hoar frost was so pretty in the sunlight. Great day.
