Beauty day on the Iceline with Mr Lockyer. I hadn't been on this trail since the summer of '07 when I was living in Mississauga and came out to visit some friends in Golden. I would be interesting to look back at the old pics to see how much the ice has receded... or maybe I won't look and just continue living in blissful ignorance.

Legs felt fantastic for the first 20kms or so. Then last weekend's race caught up to me and they felt heavy and stiff.

First time riding Stoney Squaw on the new bike. The climb was definitely tougher, but I think I really just need to learn how to pedal that thing correctly. It was all good though, as the toughness of the climb payed out in spades on the super fun downhill!!

Up to Ha Ling summit to greet Gabrielli and Nic with peach pie and beer after their North Face route. Bag felt heavy and certainly didn't break any speed records with my 59min ascent time. Those boys can run quickly downhill though!
