Flattest run ever. On Gull Lake. Stopped for a little playground workout with step-ups, push-ups, and chin-ups. Good ankle strengthening on the frozen heaved ice.

8 x 3min hills up spray, with 8 x 10s sprints from gate. Legs felt pretty terrible, but still managed to push it on a couple.

Only slept 3hrs last night.....that wasn't so good either.

Currently sipping sleepy time tea so hoping for better results tonight.

Dolomite circuit with Lisette and Ali. Missing Suzy these days....

Pretty easy-going day out there as the track was already in. Some new hoar on top of the old tracks (maybe two days old?) and definitely kind of hollow at points under the layer we were traveling on. We were careful around exposed rock and didn't venture into places that were too wind effected. Otherwise skiing was good if not a little "adventurous" on the way out through the trees. It was a beauty day with the sun shining bright - almost felt like spring. Temps were max -7C in the alpine.

Wow. Laziest run ever. More like an attempt at a recovery run turned photography stroll. Hip flexors still talking to me. Sore are my shoulders. Oh, and my QLs and my lungs and my bones.

XC Skiing (Classic) 3:40:17 [3] 49.84 km (4:25 / km) +402m 4:15 / km

Lake Louise to (almost) Banff Loppet.

Good adventure skiing in Banff National Park. Jostling racers, road crossing, ice flows, alders, dirt patches, frozen death cookies, sketchy downhills, beautiful views, and sunshine. My favorite kind of a day.

Training more would have been a better idea. Now have some mild self-inflicted medial epicondylitis. Oh yeah, and is there an official term for the condition in which every single muscle in your body is sore? I have that.

Also got to experience ab cramps for the first time. Interesting feeling!

Congrats especially to fellow APer Carbon's Offset for completing his first LL to B loppet! I hope his new hairy skis survived...
