| Just a little ride...in Monachil, Spain! After the "race", we came to this town for the mountain biking. It's basically nestled in at the bottom of some mountains. Great climbs...and hairy singletrack descents. I'll fill you all in when I get home...no doubt you've heard some stories.
Just so you know, Bobby's doing fine. Here's my ride from this morning more or less. If you turn on the elevation, you get a feel for the climbing around here. Total time included a 30 minute siesta near the summit. When in Spain... | ||

| Good to get out for some practice on this before the race. Ended up doing race repeats with Milhouse: Ascend up, switch over, rappel back down. Nothing says safety like racing on ropes, eh? Final results: Hansel 3:23, Milhouse 3:09. I hang my head in shame.
But wait! The judges rule that Hansel gets the "They're his ropes and he set the anchors" 15 second time credit giving me a final time of 3:08. Sorry Milhouse, maybe learn how to tie your shoes properly and then I'll teach you some real knots... | ||
