very hot/humid, course overly steep for the conditions. legs OK after ride, but was overheating and sweating profusely. by cp10 I could not run anymore and had to walk. had to walk anyway on the way uphill to 11, but I took a break half way there. joe M walked a jug of water back down the hill to me. super great for him to do that. at cp11 I rested for 10 min. and then continued to finish the course with quite a bit more climb in the last few K. |
