Middle event at Nisa thermal baths. Never really got into it so quite scrappy, felt tired all the way through - couldn't even open up on the easy last few controls. Blamed it on not eating probably and driving lots in the last few days??? Also didn't feel so up for the race today - not sure why.

WRE today. Had an OK run. Got a little bit nervous beforehand which was good. Concentrated well though lost it a bit in the middle when started to think I was getting dehydrated - it wasn't really that hot but it felt like it to me!
5th, Maria Rantala won in 61 which I think was a good time.

Night sprint round Nisa. Ran at 85% ish but always had a plan for the next leg which was good. Aislinn won and Clare 4th. Some good british packing in the top 10!!

Model Event at Monte Claro am, jogged to get into the map then 4 or so legs hard then jogged a bit more. Practiced fence crossing too!

Jog round Portalegre with Aislinn, Lizzie, Jane and Laura after a long days travelling. Nice town, got soaked at the end of the run!

Track session plus Rach, Matt and Jules.
200/250/300 x3 with 3 mins between sets. Ran 35/45/55 throughout. Felt tough - long long time since I've done short reps!

Not a great area. very brambly, slushy snow AND I ran into a fence so have a great straight line bruise across both quads!
Got very demoralised with the course by the end of it but some good bonding with the M50s trying to get out of brambly jungles onto paths. Yuk. remind me not to go to DVO events anymore...
Took it steady as still coughing a bit. Nice lunch afterwards at least!!

Slow, long run in the snow to Stanage and back with a bit of Rivelin valley (very slushy) from the 3 merry lads. Felt OK but still coughing and sound a bit funny.

Run home from work slowly. Felt OK by the end of it (ie on the downhill bit) snowing but very wet.

jog round loxley with Oli, didn't feel very good still. kept HR very low.
