5k time trial indoor - rubbish! Started at the right pace - 46 sec laps but couldn't keep it up at all. Tummy felt bad and wasn't sure I was going to be able to complete it. Headache all night afterwards. Think it must have been a delayed reaction to Saturday?

not a fantastic orienteering course at Sherwood Pines. Had an OK run apart from a couple of dubious controls!

Tricketts Hills with Hallamshire (mainly orienteers there)
4 sets of 3 hills, 25/36/45 jog back recovery. Good session.

Run to the club hut and to Tricketts hills. Ran back down Loxley Valley with Clare and Helen and my little tikka between us which was cool!

300m reps x 12 56-59 seconds with around a 65 second recovery each time. Felt OK it was a bit chilly though!

jogging round track 6 times plus jogging to tram stop from work plus 6 x 100m strides each getting faster 22-17 seconds.

Event: DVO Eyam Moor District Event
 
Orienteering race 1:15:00 [4]
horrible run at Eyam! The course didn't even go in the best bit. Intermittent hail and snow blizzards and head high (well it felt like it) heather. Great. Good training and orienteered well overall I think. Bashed knee near start but it feels OK (some nice scars and bruises). Still at least I didn't head to the Lakes - Oli just rang to say Snake and Woodhead passes are both closed due to snow so who knows when he'll get home!!??

control pick in the green wood in the middle of Burbage (Oli planned). No controls but think I spiked most of them. Nice to be down in the valley out of the gales and nice to have loads of us out training!

felt very very tired after XC yesterday and possibly due to a lack of caffeine in Bilbo's flat? Shame as it was a nice session but I just plodded round.

Bilbo's Ambleside Sprint Race. Well maybe not 5 intensity but felt like it! Had an OK run after I got into it - messed around until wading the river... Download stopped working so no idea of results.

Yorkshire County Champs - tough race anyway and very tough course this year. Hilly and muddy. Ran OK but finished slightly lower than last year in 31st.
