Event: Cliffhanger Ultrasprint
Orienteering race 45:00 [5]
3 qualifiers, A semi and A wmns final
Really cool to actually run the Cliffhanger ultrasprint this year!
Ran well in the qualifiers to just scrape into the A semi but was miles of the grand final unsurprisingly.
Not quite quick enough to stay with Rach and Piret in the final but caught P up in the maze at the end as she did one loop twice - unfortunately she got the better of me at the last control and sprint finish (not often I lose one of those!) to take the victory after Rach was unluckily DSQ
Nice one Piret! and also Neil for taking the overall victory.
Thanks to OJ for making it happen (and all the other helpers).

2 sprints at Graves Park, took so long on the first one (including a bit of a refusal on a very steep downhill) that I 'won'
